The UFL-3 is supplied with a diffuser to soften its light for reduced backscatter, glare, and hard shadows.
The flash connects to a compatible underwater housing via the optional PTCB-E02 fiber-optic cable. It's configured with a YS style mount for attachment to an optional lighting arm. The UFL-3 is powered by 4 AA alkaline, NiMH, lithium, or oxy nickel hydroxide (Oxyride) batteries, which are available separately.
